I
Our Story
Songwriting is the genuine reflection of personal thoughts, emotions and experiences. It is this authentic expression that connects with others. A process in which the artist willingly embraces vulnerability. That is the significance of Muhsical Expression; it is an easily accessible safe space for artists to explore. A private place where you can collaborate with someone who has an informed appreciation of the process. A change in exercise that triggers new and varied creative ideas. Through collaborations with band mates, developing performers, professional musicians, and inner city youth, I have learned it can be the suggestion of one simple chord that provides the inspiration for an entire song's completion. Here you have access to someone who provides this support towards your project's completion and your evolution as a musician or songwriter. There are four types of services offered through Muhsical Expression. Music is best shared, not just the final outcome, but the artistic journey itself.

YOUR COLLABORATOR
I'm Chris Muhs. I hope to collaborate with you on your present goals. I have been a professional musician for 17 years, performing blues, reggae, country, soul, blue grass, Americana, folk, rock, hiphop, and pop. As a singer songwriter, I appreciate music of all genres. Am intrigued by the different perspectives shared in music by different cultures, in different localities (Inuit music in Alaska, the collage of music in New Orleans, or Irish folk in Dublin). I do believe nature and music are intertwined, creatively and therapeutically. You often find me out exploring the great outdoors with Kenobi, my best friend pictured below. Having studied Music Therapy and Audio Engineering, we have those tools to use together as well. Through the years others have shared they find a conversing ease in music with me, which readily lends itself. This has led me to create Muhsical Expression. Can't wait to hear from you,
Chris
